1. Check the attachment of the side car to the motorcycle and ensure that all fixing devices are present and secure












2. For ‘leanable’ side cars check the operation of the attachment pivot joints.

1. Any attachment between the side car and motorcycle:

a. missing

b. fractured or insecure

c. seriously weakened by corrosion, excessive wear or due to an inadequate repair

d. with excessive play in any attachment pins or bushes



2. Excessively tight, worn or deteriorated pivot points or bushes on a ‘leanable’ side car.
